I love finding moments to capture, the click of the shutter, and most of all the creation of the final portrait. Since childhood I have been an avid shutterbug and have always been known as the "photographer" in my circle of friends. My journey of becoming a professional photographer began when I became a mother (my son is now twelve years old and my daughter is nine).  On occasion I took them for studio portraits but was not thrilled with the results.

When a friend and photographer started taking my children's portraits, in an outdoor setting with black and white film, I finally had some “keepers”. I was inspired to begin a business to create “keepers” for others to treasure.  I hope you are taking the time and money to invest in your own "keepers" before it becomes a regret.

Capturing Artistic Images of Your Loved Ones

The early years of our children’s lives go by so quickly. But even more fleeting is each stage. The precious newborn rapidly becomes a smiling infant. Before we know it they are off and running, then our cute little toddler becomes an articulate three year old, and will soon be off to school. 

I feel that these stages should be captured in a playful, natural, and relaxed environment.  In your backyard or in an outdoor location of your choice, your children will be comfortable and able to express their true spirit. The natural backgrounds with the black and white medium create an artistic and creative portrait for you and your family to cherish.
